The Story of Habib

Habib Beirut began in a family home in Lebanon, where Habib spent forty years perfecting traditional homemade pickles, dairy, cold mezze and the kibbeh and pastries that made his table famous. Word travelled, and guests came from across Lebanon for food made with patience and love.

We brought his kitchen from Lebanon to the world — learning his recipes in his own home, and above all his rule that every ingredient deserves care. Today, that same table is set in Khorfakkan: a rooftop restaurant by the waterfalls, where the sea breeze meets Lebanese hospitality and everyone leaves smiling.

  • Perfectly situated right by the stunning Khorfakkan Waterfall, this restaurant features an incredible cave-style architecture with remarkably high ceilings that create an open, grand feel. The absolute highlight is the massive windows, which offer fascinating, up-close views of the waterfall pouring right down beside you. Food was outstanding; we ordered the assorted Lebanese bites, mixed grill, and fresh lemonade with mint. Everything was top-notch — the meat was of exceptionally high quality, and every dish burst with fresh, rich flavors and beautiful presentation. To top it off, the service was excellent. The staff was attentive and professional, ensuring a flawless dining experience. Highly recommended for both the spectacular views and the delicious food!

  • Mountain location with a waterfall view is equal to magical. Tried the grill platter, shawarma, and the salad stuffed chicken bread. Everything was fresh, generous, and packed with flavor. Staff were super friendly and quick. Perfect spot for family lunch or a peaceful getaway. Highly recommend.

  • Visited Habib Beirut Restaurant in Khorfakkan with friends for lunch and had a really good overall experience. We were lucky to get a window table with a beautiful sea view, which made the lunch even more enjoyable. Ample paid parking available nearby, the sea view seating is a major highlight, food portions are quite generous, and there's an excellent variety of food including many good vegetarian options. The hummus was excellent, falafel, fattoush salad and grilled halloumi were also very good, and staff were polite, attentive and genuinely helpful. Definitely recommended, especially if you can reserve a window table and enjoy the view while dining.
